Maanya Madan, our founder, helps mark March 16 as #MyFreedomDay, a day dedicated to combating human trafficking. AIS Against Human Trafficking, a student group, collaborates with local and global organizations to combat this issue.

The day involves educating the entire K-12 student body, as well as parents and teachers, about human trafficking. Maanya's leadership has been pivotal, and she was elected junior leader of the group. They focus on themes each year, and in 2022, they highlighted fair trade. Their efforts extend beyond #MyFreedomDay, including training sessions on recognizing signs of human trafficking. Maanya's exceptional work earned her recognition as Atlanta United's Honorary Captain.
