A Visit To India

VISITING THE AMAZING CHILDREN!

A few weeks ago, one of our Board Members, Salina Madan was able to visit some of the children that are being supported by Mere Karma Foundation and the teachers during her visit to India.

This is what she said about her visit, "I feel fortunate and blessed to have had the opportunity to meet such wonderful kids. From the innocence of a 2nd grader to the confidence of 7-8th graders to the accomplishments of students studying at universities on scholarships."

When she returned back home, she was amazed by how much these kids have learned. The ability they had to speak both hindi and english with such clarity. Along with the talents that were unique to each child, developed based off of their interests.

SUMMER OF 2022

Students have now completed their school year! They are now taking part in a 20 day summer program.

Participating in activities that teach them basics: how to sew, dance, apply makeup, do yoga, write and recite poetry, play music together, and learn how to use a graphic design platform, called Canva.

Summer camp is intriguing for kids because it allows them to develop their skills while also boosting their confidence.
